Sparky, I just wanted to thank you for putting up this really interesting and super informative site! I have had your Bible for many years and have gotten my pilot friends to read it as well. I go through it again every year. I got my ticket in ’95 and went into Reds Horse Ranch with my instructor not long after that. I was hooked and got some back country instruction from Lynn Clarke. She was amazing. I had a 180 conversion for my Skyhawk and put a STOL kit on it. Anyway, your book has been a great mental refresher for me and this WEB site is a nice addition. Photos (Nikon 4300 digital) taken 10-02-04 around 9:00-10:00 a.m. by Alejandro Echeverria on a flight about 25 miles southwest of Monterrey Nuevo Leon, Mexico. The area is called Sierra of Monterrey. Photos 2-3-5 are facing west, 1-4-6 are facing east. Click on photo to enlarge 3 different runways 25 miles west of Puerto Vallarta... very nice to visit. San Sebastian del Oeste, Tlalpa and Mascota ... this is what you call air strips....
